"Solid construction per all MXR pedals. I prefer this A/B pedal with a foot switch for each channel compared to other boxes with one switch does it all. LED's tells me which channel is on and off with a quick glance. For me it makes it quicker and cleaner on the fly to know where I am versus stomping on a single switch multiple times to figure out if I am on the channel I need."

"It’s a simple configuration and I like the fact that I can have either amp (a Twin Reverb and a Deluxe Reverb) individually or both simultaneously, with no series to click through to find a particular configuration. I often run a Garcia-esque OBEL and the active nature of the onboard preamp gives terrible noise if I pull a separate line from a stereo chorus or the like. Here, though, I run the entire line with OBEL (guitar>board>guitar > out) into the M196 then split the signal. No screaming issues, dead spots, or other onstage panic-inducing problems. Just all into The Box, to the respective amp. Then choose the amp(s). Perfect!"
