Maton Custom Acoustic

Offered here is my Custom ordered Australian Jumbo Maton Acoustic acquired from the original owner in 2013.

Built 25th October, 2007 with following spec and Custom upgrades

Soundboard - Solid Sitka Spruce
Rosette - Herringbone
Inner Binding - Herringbone
Outer Binding - Blackwood with Pinstripe
Back and Sides - Solid Blackwood
Neck upgraded to Rock Maple from Queensland Maple
Headstock - Blackwood veneer with keyhole
Fingerboard - upgraded from dot inlays to 'Sweet as Honey' custom block inlays
Bridge - Rosewood
Pickguard was ordered without M logo - Tortoiseshell
Tuners - Gold Grover Rotomatic

Maton Hard Shell travel case.

The only minor thing is a slight mark on the neck at the absolute top (near body on side) which does not detract from playing and is absolutely minimal for a guitar this age. it is difficult to see unless you look for it.

Sounds lush mic'd up and fills a PA well for solo singers/ players.

A little Ironically for a jumbo I think it sounds amazing as a finger picked melody maker because of its deep round tone to notes with a sweet top end. It fits Folk and Country just fine. Its not quite a Rock and Roller although it doesn't embarrass itself if called upon for a little rock.

Currently a non custom Maton equivalent to this would be around 33k sek... 50k sek for a custom with similar upgrades but you won't get the aged woods like this anymore.
