This JOYO pedal has the near-full amount of smooth, subtle overdrive that everyone expects from a Fender-style tube amp. When used as a clean boost, you'll get more liquid/tonal gold. Compression and fatness that you don't normally hear from a pedal. High quality pots, sockets and components ensure that the sound is equally impressive when you start using it. The sound you hear in the surf classics of the 60s, as well as the country and rock songs of the 50s, is the classic Fenders clean sound. This warm sound first appeared in 1953. Some people describe the amp's tone as dark because it has less high end, but it has a full 3-band EQ in case that's really not what you're looking for. This pedal can also do the classic sound of early FDs amps, cranking it up high with that brilliant growling, saturated overdriven tweed sound.
