"Chronoblob2 is a digital delay with lots of options. With a sample rate of 48 kHz the module provides clean sound. It offers four different delay modes: two stereo modes (dual delay and ping-pong-delay) and two mono modes with external feedback loop (single delay and cascade delay).

The Single Delay and Cascade Delay modes offer the use of the right output and input as feedback send and return, so additional modules can be added for additional effects. Cascade delay mode expands on this archetype by also placing the second delay inside the feedback loop of the main delay, creating a wild multiplying echo effect.

The delays can sync to an external clock patched in the Sync input. The multiplier or divider is choosen using the Time knob. If nothing is plugged to the Sync input, the Time knob sweeps continuously the delay time in a traditional way.

Furthermore both delay times (L and R) can be affected independently by a control voltage thanks to the two Time CV inputs, which are equipped with polarizers for scaling the modulation. The right Time CV is normalised to the left one so you can easily control both with the same signal. Additionally the left Time CV input is normalised to 5 volt, allowing to modify the delay time even if nothing is connected.

With the Mode switch it is possible to select how Chronoblob2 responds to changes of the delay time. Tape mode creates pitch-shifting effects, while Fade mode simply fades between delay taps.

The balance between the original and processed signal is done by an equal-power crossfader, controlled using the Dry/Wet potentiometer. In its center position, the dry and wet signals will each be mixed at -3dB, avoiding clipping.

Lastly, an „infinite loop“ button enables to manually freeze the audio buffer. Thanks to the according CV input it is also possible to activate the loop using a gate. When engaged, the LED lights up."
