Tannoy Cougar 15” Dual-Concentric Speakers

I am selling two 15" Tannoy 3859 Dual-Concentric drivers with crossovers.

These are in the shape of stage monitor enclosures.

The speakers and crossovers are in good condition and well protected with a metal grille.

These speakers were part of the Wildcat series from the mid 1980s. I would describe the sound as bright, clear and precise.


300W power, 150W RMS

Frequency response 100Hz - 20kHz, +/-3dB

Sensitivity 96dB at 1W @ 1m (2.83V)

Impedance 8 ohms nominal, 5.5 ohms minimum

HF dispersion 90 degree conical

Crossover frequency 1.8kHz

Connectors: Two parallel-connected speakon speaker connectors.
