- Ok, where do I start? When I first cozied up to the mic my initial impression is this is my new pre/mic combo for my acoustic. The sound is controlled on the bottom giving the sound in the bass side of the spectrum very tight clear detailed sound. I really didn't find any build up in the low mid frequencies I almost always associate with this particular guitar and the mids are very well balanced with a very flat response upward to the highs with an even clarity which I believe really represents the KM84 at it's best.
