Drummer needed for a power duo. Mix of various heavy styles.

Hello, I play low tuned baritone guitar and compose music pieces for baritone / drums duo. Compositions have various styles of heavy music mixed together. I also play avantguard’ish psychodelic style improvisations/solos, sometimes using looper, but not necessarily (depending on composition). There is a lot of space for jamming or even go into more or less free form improvisations.

I am 40 y.o., has been professional musician in the past (15 years ago, double bass player in jazz band), now I am a game sound designer. But I hear music and want to play it and record it. I hope to find someone who has the same vibe. Age/gender/race and whatever else doesn’t matter for me. If my music resonates with you and you have a feeling you want to play it, then we will do good things together. I am not keen on a “level” of playing, but you should be more or less comfortable to play drum parts that are in demo recordings. As for the rest I can offer myself as a practice buddy and can help you to work out whatever you want (if you want): improvisations, time feel, dynamics, odd signatures, particular styles (jazz, pop, rock, metal), music theory, arrangement, instrumentation, composition and whatnot.

The drum parts could be re-imagined, alternated, beefed up or cooled down, or whatever else you might want to try to do with them. But the feel, accents and story of compositions should be preserved (or everything will fall apart obviously).
