It features an AA solid sitka spruce top, solid Indian rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboard and bridge and extensive real abalone inlays. The dreadnought is commonly seen as a strumming instrument. The loud tone and the bold and sonorous low end really shine when played with a pick. The big body gives the D-270 a full sound with lots of detail and lots of dynamics.
