Selling my Fender Japan ST-STD Stratocaster in good working condition. Made in Japan, with the “Crafted in Japan” marking on the neck. Serial number: R014529. According to Fender’s Japanese serial-number guide, this serial prefix and marking date the guitar to approximately 2004–2005. The serial number is included so you can check the dating yourself. The guitar plays well, holds tuning reliably, and all electronics work as they should. The bridge saddles have been replaced. To my non-expert eye, the neck looks straight and the frets seem to be in good shape, with no obvious heavy wear. Cosmetically, it has the expected signs of use for its age: a few scratches, small dings, and some wear on the hardware, but nothing that affects playability.
